On August 15, 2022, Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) HK Acquisition Corporation (HKEX: 7841) was officially listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. This is the third SPAC to be listed in Hong Kong since the introduction of the SPAC regime on the HKEx.

Haitong International Capital Limited acted as the sole sponsor of the offering, and Morrison & Foerster acted as legal counsel to the sponsor, providing professional services in Hong Kong and U.S. law.

Sidley Austin and Maples and Calder acted as Hong Kong and U.S. counsel and Cayman Islands counsel for the issuer, respectively, in connection with the listing transaction.
