Harneys recently announced that Alan Au has joined its Hong Kong office as a partner in the Corporate team.

Alan has a relevant background in the scientific and pharmaceutical fields and has extensive experience in corporate transactions. His practice areas include privatizations, initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, private and public equity and debt offerings, special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) and De-SPAC transactions, pre-IPO financings, joint ventures, and share option and incentive plans, with major clients including major banks, Chinese and international law firms, public companies, and private equity firms.

Prior to joining Harneys, Alan worked for Fangda Partners, Shearman & Sterling, Sidley Austin, Bird & Bird and another offshore law firm.
