2023-03-08

Latham & Watkins LLP ("Latham") has recently been granted a foreign law firm license by the Saudi Ministry of Justice to practice law in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Latham is one of the first international law firms to be granted this license, having previously served Saudi clients primarily through an office in partnership with local law firm The Law Firm of Salman M. Al-Sudairi.

Latham's Riyadh office is staffed by lawyers who are qualified to practice in Saudi Arabia and other countries and regions. These attorneys have extensive experience in Saudi Arabia and are familiar with the Saudi legal framework and business environment, and are able to provide legal advice to start-ups, top multinational companies, as well as private equity, investment funds and financial institutions, and handle a wide range of complex projects in the areas of domestic and foreign investments, domestic corporate transactions and financing for clients.
