Reed Smith has recently announced that Jill Wong has joined its Hong Kong office as a partner in the financial regulation practice.

With extensive knowledge of banking and securities laws, data privacy, cybercrime and financial crime issues, Jill Wong handles both contentious and non-contentious matters and regularly advises clients on regulatory investigations and disciplinary inquiries, as well as licensing and business conduct issues, involving regulators such as the Securities and Futures Commission, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Prior to joining Reed Smith, Wong worked for Howse Williams, Allen & Overy, Clifford Chance and King & Wood, in addition to experience in-house with Credit Suisse and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
