Seeking to work with Asian clients using BVI and Cayman Island structures, Forbes Hare is launching its Singapore office with a licence to practise in the city-state, following its 2012 opening in London.
The Singapore office will open on 1 July and will be headed by newly-promoted partner Sam Robertson. And he will be joined in Singapore by litigation consultant Michael Pringle.
The Singapore team will focus on Forbes Hare' s core practice areas of litigation and private client. Also, it will work regularly with counsel Lorraine Bartlett, who heads up fiduciary business Forbes Hare Trust Company (NZ) in New Zealand.
The leading BVI-headquartered offshore law firm Forbes Hare is the eighth offshore firm to open in Singapore.
