UK law firm Lewis Silkin has opened in Hong Kong as a Registered Foreign Law Firm, in a move aimed at growing the firm’s employment and global mobility offering in Asia.

Antonia Grant,immigration and global mobility partner, is heading the Hong Kong team, which also comprises senior associate Scott Anderson, a trainee, and other support staff.

This is Lewis Silkin's first outside the UK and will work closely with a network of firms throughout Asia as part of the firm’s membership of Ius Laboris, a global alliance of employment, labour and pension law firms, the firm said in a statement.
 

The firm has more than 60 partners across four offices in London, Oxford, Cardiff and Hong Kong.
