IP agency SIPS(Simone Intellectual Property Services)has hired trademark expert Christopher Smith as a partner, who will mainly practice in China and the UK. Before this, Smith acted as a consultant in Baker McKenzie.

SIPS is established in 2012 in HK, and has offices in Beijing and Shanghai. SIPS helps enterprises in managing their IP portfolios, including registration, enforcement and licensing of trademarks, copyrights and patents, as well as domain name dispute resolution.
